7th grader Blossoms at the Y

C was having trouble. His father had passed away and he was in a new school. The transition from one home to another and from one school to another was very hard and he hadn’t made any friends. Luckily, the Y offered every 7th grader a free membership; C saw the flyer and came in to check it out.

The Y is now his home away from home and he comes to the Y every day to play basketball, work out, or just chat. He has developed strong relationships with the Y staff and has made friends his own age. He is much happier now and looks forward to coming to the Y every day. C, a 7th grader
